Meet The Dentists

Anatoliy Barak, D.M.D.
Dr. BarakDr. Barak received his undergraduate degree from Columbia University. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine with the Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree. Dr. Barak completed a year of advanced training at the Lutheran Medical Center General Practice Residency Program. Cosmetic and restorative dentistry are Dr. Barak's passion. Dr. Barak is a member of the New York State and the American Dental Associations and is dedicated to providing the highest quality of dentistry at an affordable price.

 

Nandor Halpert, D.D.S.
Dr. HalpertDr. Halpert received his undergraduate degree from the State University at Stony Brook. He graduated from New York University College of Dentistry with the Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Halpert completed a year of advanced training with a focus on implant dentistry at the Maimonides Medical Center General Practice Residency Program. There, he gained experience in restoring multiple implant systems. Dr. Halpert is a member of the New York State and the American Dental Associations and is highly experienced in all phases of cosmetic and restorative dentistry. Dr. Halpert speaks fluent Hungarian.

 

Susanna Isaacs, D.D.S.
Dr. IsaacsDr. Isaacs is a graduate of Bard College and the State University at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine. She specializes in family and cosmetic dentistry which features porcelain veneers and tooth whitening. Dr. Isaacs is able to develop strong relationships with her patients by listening to their needs, answering all of their questions and making them feel as comfortable as possible. Dr. Isaacs devotes several hours each month to learning the most advanced techniques in dentistry so that she can provide her patients with the very best care available.



Scott Froum, D.D.S.
Dr. FroumScott Froum received his BA from Amherst College in Amherst, Massachusetts while majoring in biology. He continued his academic scientific research training at NYU School of Medicine and published numerous papers in the field of angiogenesis and signal transduction. He received his DDS from the State University of New York Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine where he graduated with honors. He continued his dental training in the post graduate periodontal department at the State University of New York Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine and received his periodontal certificate with distinguished honors. He currently is a Clinical Associate Professor at New York University in the Department of Periodontology and Implantology. He is co-editor of the nationally distributed e-newsletter  “The Surgical-Restorative Resource”. He is involved with many ongoing research studies, webcast seminars, and has co-authored a chapter on Implant Complications in Carranza's text book Clinical Periodontology as well as authoring a chapter in the text book Etiology, Prevention, and Treatment of Implant Complications. He has lectured on the national and international level on implant therapy and periodontics.
